I’m a Creative director/ fashion designer. I love styling and helping people feel confident in what they wear. Bringing a vision to life is a passion of mine. 

Junik apparel is the name of my ready to wear clothing line and I specialize in both men and women’s wear. It’s a smash of streetwear & sophisticated styles. From unisex attire to everyday wear. I also provide unique pieces that are custom designs. In addiction, wardrobe styling in various categories is something I also do. Such as seasonal, for talent, and private clients.

 

Excel in any sport?

 

Although I do love to play any sport for fun I truly excel in dance. My specialty is in salsa dancing. From learning on the streets of miami to training in nyc, the love I have for dance is something that keep me young and free.

Call me happy feet. Although you may not see me perform live, the skills that I have obtain through my years of practice are transferable to my daily life. The confidence, stamina, and discipline has helped me grow as an individual leading to my boss like mine-set.

 

Over the years of being an entrepreneur, I have learned many skills. From being a makeup artist to a photographer for parties, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the lens. Growing up I was always surrounded by creative people because my family has been in the art world for generations. Thus, why I’m in to fine art and spoken word as a hobby. There’s something about painting with no boarders and speaking from the heart that helps me express myself.

Having and outlet such as art truly helps with balancing my day to day life as a human.

 

Someone with an inspiring story?

 

Growing up as a only child with a single parent, taught me resilience, responsibility, and compassion. Shoot I learn how to cook and clean for myself at a young age setting me apart from the rest of my peers. Someone would say being in 8 car accidents would be a tragedy, but it’s only made me stronger and taught me to appreciate everyday you are given. I feel like I have super powers because I sometimes question how am I still standing. Statistically speaking only a small percentage of people survive one car accident so how am I not to see the positive through all of this. I’m a survivor, I have a bigger purpose, I am a role model and I am here to share my story. 

 

 

Someone that has a personal achievement?

 

I am proud to say I’m the first in my family that has a college degree. Having over come all of my college years, one of my proudest personal achievements is that i never felt pressured to smoke or drink in my life. Being 31 years young is due to not make pour rash decisions which has paved the way to me being a leader. I take proud in never being a follower. Being an entrepreneur, I have learned so many skills and found a love in giving back. At the age of 26, I was putting on workshops for aspiring models. I taught tips and tricks, do’s and Don’ts and how to network. I learned that I love giving back and Sharing the knowledge I have gained being a freelance model.

 

Has appeared on tv ? 

 

I have been in over 80+ different music videos since I started my modeling careering at the year of 21. To name a few, Cardi B- Bodak Yellow, Jadakiss, Fab, swizz beats- Theme Music, Safaree – sheesh, Lil Kim- Spicy. From being behind the scenes to being in front of the camera for acting, modeling and dancing.I have been seen in a couple of commercials and TV shows such as , good morning America , Amazon prime music, Dr.Oz, Wendy Williams, The Sherri show, spoifty, Ciroc, Sprayground, BET awards. I have appeared on a few tv shows as well like orange is the new black, Younger and Wildn Out. I have been on a couple of pilots and short films. My biggest work for camera time will be airing sometime in February 2024 on a designer competition show called “ Dress my Tour”. A few commercial have yet to come out from Trojan, IT cosmetics and KIA car.
